Since the first light of civilization, communication has been of prime significance to human beings. Depending upon the distance of communication, various acoustic methods such as drums, horns and optical communication methods like smoke signals and fire works, utilizing the visible portion ofthe electromagnetic spectrum, were used. As technology advanced further, communication using the electromagnetic spectrum outside the visible region has been explored.

از زمان اولین نور تمدن، ارتباطات از مهم های اولیه برای انسان بوده است. بسته به فاصله ارتباطات، روش های مختلف صوتی مانند درام ها، شاخ ها و روش های ارتباطی نوری مانند سیگنال های دود و کارهای آتش نشانی با استفاده از بخش قابل ملاحظه طیف الکترومغناطیسی مورد استفاده قرار می گرفت. با پیشرفت تکنولوژی، ارتباطات با استفاده از طیف الکترومغناطیسی در خارج از منطقه قابل مشاهده مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است.

The notion of antenna was first conceived in 1886, by Heinrich Rudolph Hertz, the father of Electromagnetics, in his Laboratory at the Technical Institute of Kalsruhe. Hertz proved experimentally that the electrical disturbances could be detected with a secondary circuit of proper dimensions for resonance and containing an air gap for sparks to occur. He generated, transmitted and received electromagnetic energy by means of an end loaded half-wave dipole (Hertzian Dipole) as transmitter and a resonant square loop antenna as receiver.

مفهوم آنتن در سال 1886، توسط Heinrich Rudolph Hertz، پدر علم الکترومغناطیس، در آزمایشگاه خود در موسسه فنی کالسروهه، بیان شد. هرتز به طور تجربی ثابت کرد که اختلالات الکتریکی می تواند با یک مدار ثانویه از ابعاد مناسب برای رزونانس تشخیص داده شود و دارای شکاف هوا برای ایجاد جرقه باشد. او انتقال و دریافت انرژی الکترومغناطیسی را با استفاده از مفهوم ناپیوستگی موج نورد (Hertzian Dipole) به عنوان فرستنده و یک آنتن حلقه رزونانس به عنوان گیرنده را تولید کرد.

Electromagnetic simulation model is a new technology to yield high accuracy analysis and design of complicated microwave and RF printed circuits. Today there are a number of Electromagnetic modeling tools available in market such as SONET, ENSEMBLE, HFSS, MICRO-STRIPES etc. IE3D is an integrated full wave electromagnetic simulation and optimization package for the analysis and design of 3dimensional microstrip antennas. The primary formulation of IE3D is an integral equation obtained through the use of Green's functions.

مدل شبیه سازی الکترومغناطیسی یک تکنولوژی جدید برای انجام تحلیل دقیق دقت و طراحی مدارهای چاپی مایکروویو و RF است. امروزه تعدادی از ابزارهای مدل سازی الکترومغناطیس موجود در بازار مانند SONET، ENSEMBLE، HFSS، MICRO STRIPES و غیره وجود دارد. IE3D یک شبیه سازی الکترومغناطیسی کامل موج و بسته بهینه سازی برای تجزیه و تحلیل و طراحی آنتن های میکرواستریت 3 بعدی می باشد. فرمول بندی اولیه IE3D یک معادله انتگرال به دست آمده از طریق استفاده از توابع Green است.
